3. Starting order
At the first competition in the Topklasse, the first twenty starting places are awarded to the nos. 1 to 20 of the final classification of the previous year. The other classes will start in order of board number. The boards are issued based on the order of the pre-registrations and then based on the day additions.
From the second race, the participants start in order of the ranking.

In order to improve the line-up, the starting area will remain closed until it is time to allow the first starting
class to line up. Only a maximum of 6 riders are allowed to stand next to each other,
5 in narrow starting areas to prevent falls during the start.
Failure to follow instructions from the organization during the preparation may result in exclusion from participation in the competition.

Starting is done via whistle signal. 1 minute before the starts, the signal will be given for 1 minute. This will also happen at 30 seconds. Last warning is at 15 seconds before start. The starter may start at any time after the 15 second warning.
A time interval of at least 2 minutes is maintained between different classes in order not to directly interfere with each other. This can be achieved by not setting up the next group until after the first group has left. Closing the starting area after the departing group is a good tool.

So there is no countdown at the start! This prevents false starts and thus a lot of annoyance.
If there is a fall in the first 60 meters, a restart will take place.

Fair play during the race will be pointed out at the start. Violations such as cutting, deliberate blocking and violence, both physical and verbal, will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
